Submissions are being accepted on an ongoing basis for the "Testimony" column in upcoming issues of Theology Cataloging Bulletin.
Theology Cataloging Bulletin is a quarterly publication of the American Theological Library Association. For thirty-five years it has been a members-only publication but in January 2019, the first open access issue will be published.
Theology Cataloging Bulletin contains information about new and changed Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) and Library of Congress Classification (LCC) numbers, upcoming training opportunities, a bibliography of recently published articles, and other information of interest to religion/theology catalogers. Each issue also contains a column entitled "Testimony", which is a first-person narrative of an experience, process, project, or training of interest to the technical services community.
This is a great opportunity for aspiring authors to dip their toe in the world of publishing without worrying about the peer-review process. Submissions are editorially reviewed and must be well-written, coherent, and to the point. Readers of the column are practitioners who want to hear about what you are doing or have learned.
